Glenn Sims 
Managing Director 


Redflame's driving force is Managing Director and executive producer Glenn Sims, who began his television career in the UK on shows including Vanessa, The Big Breakfast, The Word and the The End of the Week Show.  He created  X-Certificate, The Dance Years, Young, Gifted & Broke, and created the long-running dating show Dial A Date, working for companies including Endemol, Hewland International, Planet 24, Shine, and September Films.

Since moving to New Zealand in 2003 Glenn has worked with Touchdown Television and Screentime developing and/or producing a range of prime time hits including  Total Recall, Celebrity Treasure Island, City Celebrity Country Nobody, Captive, The Fat Chance, Eat Yourself Whole, and Sing Like A Superstar.

Glenn also formed boutique format company World Famous Films, and was the creator of hit TV2 show Redemption Hill, which was produced in conjunction with Screentime and has played in many territories around the world.

Glenn formed Redflame Media in 2007, which has created and/or produced a number of hit shows, including Even My Pet's A Porker for TV2, HomeSick for TV2,  HomeSick Extra: The Family for TVNZ6,  The Apprentice for TV2 (a co-production between Redflame and Great South Television) and Would Like To Work for TV One. 

Glenn regularly works with TVNZ and produced The Qantas Film and Television Awards in 2007 and 2010, as well as consulting on the redevelopment of  Mitre10 Dream Home and One Night Only for TV2.

Glenn currently serves as President of GABA (The Gay Auckland Business Association) and as a trustee of The GABA Charitable Trust and spearheads the Help Out In October initiative which raises tens of thousands of dollars annually for the New Zealand LGBT community.

 
 
Sage Haggart 
Head of Production & Line Producer 


With over a decade in the film and television industry, Sage has accumulated an impressive array of credits.

Sage did two years of a Bachelor of Commerce before being lured away to the South Seas School of Film and Television.

He was production manager on more than 40 commercials, corporate videos, and music videos, was involved in a number of Disney movies filmed in New Zealand, and was production co-ordinator on Crooked Earth.

Since moving back into television, Sage has worked almost exclusively with Glenn on a vast range of factual and entertainment series - including Redemption Hill, The Fat Chance, Eat Yourself Whole, Even My Pet's A Porker, HomeSick, The Apprentice and Would Like to Work.
